EFFICIENT USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
We adopt codes of conduct for the sustainable use of renewable natural resources and the rational and responsible use of non-renewable resources under criteria of continuous improvement. We promote technological innovation, applied research and the use of clean technologies for the use of natural resources.
We use water resources in a responsible way through efficiency criteria and permanent compliance with the economic retribution due to the use, in accordance with the environmental regulations in force. We have an industrial water treatment plant that allows us to recirculate process water and thus be more efficient in water consumption.
We promote a culture and way of life compatible with the principles of sustainability, deploying environmental guidelines to employees. We contribute to the environmental awareness of children and adolescents in educational institutions, which are in our area of influence, through training, workshops and/or campaigns.

ACTIONS AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE
At Corporación Aceros Arequipa we identify, evaluate and manage risks and opportunities related to climate change based on the organization's GIRO methodology.
We establish a mechanism for managing the use of energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, which allow us to objectively measure the evolution of performance and decision-making.
We have short, medium and long term GHG emission reduction goals aligned with the latest trends and standards.
We identify opportunities to promote products and services that are respectful with the environment, adapted to the possible impacts of climate change and that contribute to the transition to a low-carbon economy.
